Hello friends, family and partners!! Yet another month has passed and I have lots to share!
I’ve been quite busy the past few weeks. We at Charis Bible College in Heidelberg had the honour of hosting Charis Bible College Phoenix, Arizona (USA) Mission Trip Team for 2 weeks.
Since I’m on the media team for Heidelberg, I was able to go along on many of their outreaches to take pictures and also help translate to some of the locals.
One of the places they visited was a primary school, where the Phoenix team ministered and prayed for the children!
The children loved them!
We also ministered in a Hospital where we saw several people healed!
One young lady had a swollen stomach, that Dr.s didn’t know what was wrong with her, we prayed for her and within minutes the swelling went down completely!
Also lots of street ministry happened! We saw several healings here too, one was a lady limping due to a disintegrating hip, after praying for her, her whole back straightened out and she had no more limp!
This beautiful lady next to me’s name is Alyssa, she just graduated from 2nd year in Phoenix! What a powerful and exciting young lady she is!
Part of the Charis Bible College 2nd year program is taking a Mission Trip! You can read here, on my trip last year.
This year as a 3rd year student, I’m helping Alfred (our Dean of Students) arrange this year’s 2nd year students mission trip!
One or two 3rd year students always go along with the 2nd years, so this year I’m going with a team of 2nd year students to Zambia! It is going to be one of the longer mission trips of 2 weeks!
It’s quite a lot of preparing that goes into it, so I’ve been working every extra minute arranging everything!
I’ve recently received teaching and some revelation on giving and so today I thought I’d share a little on the benefits of giving towards missions or missionaries!
Are you a GOER or a SENDER?
Many times people say that they can’t go on mission trips, or they can’t spend all that time on the field!
This is why you get 2 kinds of people those who GO and those who SEND.
If you are at a point in your life where you can’t go yourself now, due to a busy life, your work, business or your family you don’t have to feel condemned! You can be a sender! You can be the one to fund those who go, and do you know what the amazing thing about this is?
It is as if you were doing it! You will be rewarded for the good works that those whom you sent did and those you helped fund! Because if it wasn’t for you a lot of times those who want to go can’t because of finances!
Those who can give financially both great and small! Remember it’s not about how much you give, it’s what percentage you give! If you don’t have a lot to give but still do, it will be greatly multiplied unto you!
The woman that took care of the prophet Elijah for example!
In 1 Kings 17:7-16
She gave her last away, she knew she was going to run out anyways. But by sowing food into Elijah’s live, she blessed him, and in return God blessed her with so much more, because - You can’t out give God!
I’m not saying you should give all you have to missions, what I’m saying is no matter how big or small amount it is. You are sowing into people’s lives, and therefore you will be blessed.
You will be greatly blessed for sowing into people in mission’s lives, and not only did you sow into those that went’s lives but you also sowed into those that were reached in those far away countries!
Today I want to challenge you! Sow into someone’s life! No matter how big or small! The Lord says in
Malachi 3:10 Test Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, If I will not open for you the window of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.
By blessing others you get blessed, if you don’t have enough sow it and see how God does a miracle in your life!
If you do not know where to give, you are welcome to sow into me as I’m joining the 2nd years on this mission trip to Zambia.
We will be camping and there are quite a few expenses (like warmer clothes, traveling/camping gear etc) I have to give out for this kind of mission trip that we are going on!
We have this saying in Charis, “One hand to Receive, One hand to Give and as the money flows through there’s plenty for you!”
Be blessed today!!
You are in my prayers, can’t wait till next month!
Much Blessings
